Job Vacancy as a Procurement Executive

Company Description:
Euro-Atlantic established in 1991 is a leading Importer and Distributor of quality fresh produce and specialty fresh & chilled seafood in Malaysia. We are looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To provide support to the Procurement Team in purchasing of products (fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood)
2. To liaise with overseas exporters and local suppliers for daily/weekly orders, price negotiation and product availability
3. To provide the Marketing Team with product knowledge of new, existing and potential products
4. To work with internal departments on all purchasing related matters

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma or its equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Purchasing/Procurement industry
3. Candidates must be able to do translation and construct correspondence in English and Mandarin
4. Strong PC skills especially in Microsoft Words, Excel and UBS System
5. Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Must have priority thinking, initiative and able to multi-task and meet datelines
7. Preferably MALE between 25 to 35 years old
8. Able to travel independently for overseas sourcing trips
9. Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with experience
